IDEA was engaged by Paul M. Falsetto Architect to help plan and envision accommodations and retail spaces for multiple historic buildings on Ferry Street, directly across from Courthouse Square Park in Dayton, Oregon.
Using our vast experience with this building type, we provided space planning for a variety of units, amenity selections, appropriate finish materials for pricing, and a full FF&E package for budgeting for this LEED gold building.
Working closely with stakeholders and the development team, it became clear that a focus on more luxury accommodations would be appropriate in this hospitality market. IDEA’s design approach is to provide this level of product while also celebrating Dayton’s history and individuality. We pay homage to that rich heritage, with a focus on fostering a meaningful connection to the Dayton community. We manifest our design through constructed storytelling, with finish selections that are tailored for the building’s unique qualities, as well as addressing superior hospitality standards.
